happy valentine's day!we are all about spreading the love, and isn't that the point of valentine's day to begin with? of course it is, so below you'll find various ways you can spread the love amongst your fellow selectians. valentines will be delivered and results will be posted on february 14th, with the graphics for the awards and hot/cute lists following shortly thereafter. if you could all be so kind as to drop off pictures of yourself or those you are nominating in the post above, that would be lovely and would also help out those who are making our graphics. the rules and protocol for nominating/dropping of valentines are as follows:

valentine drop: feel like sending a bit of love to that special someone, your best friend, or someone you'd like to get to know better? this is the place to do it! drop off the name of your beloved and a short message if you so desire, and specify if you want it to be anonymous (in the style of a secret admirer) or not. then drop off a picture or two of them here (not a requirement but very helpful) and wait until cupid sends them your wishes come february 14th.
each person is limited to submitting three valentines, to make sure we're able to spread the love around and not get overwhelmed.•
male hot list & female hot list: a nice little ego boost for everyone! please comment each respective post with your top ten hottest males and top ten hottest females. you can either number them and we will give them points based on which number you give them (for example, putting someone at #1 gets them ten points, #2 gets them 9, and so on all the way down to #10, which gives them 1) or you can leave them unnumbered and we'll give them each three points. we'll tally all the nominations and present the top twenty hottest males and top twenty hottest females at the end of the week, with everyone else who got at least one point getting a general "you're a hottie!" graphic. if you'd like to nominate yourself you can, just not for all ten spots, please.

cute list: this is for both males and females and goes out to everyone who you find too adorable to stand it! leave the names of five people you find cute and loveable and the top ten cutest people will each get a graphic. this one doesn't have as complex of a numbering system as the hot lists do - we'll simply give a point per person you nominate and tally them that way.

awards: added lovin' for the couples and individuals who are deserving of the respective awards. for each category, nominate as many people/couples as you want, and we'll give out awards to the top three winners in each category. yes, we just had awards a month ago but this is just an additional few categories to coincide with the holiday!
please go ahead and start submitting and don't forget to drop off any pictures of yourself or those who you are giving valentines to in the post above! any questions will also be answered if you have them. hopefully this makes sense, and remember this is all for fun. the hope is that every active member of the community will get SOMETHING, whether it's a valentine, a spot on the hot list, or a little award. remember to be nice to each other and happy valentine's day!
